RNC Tries to Kill DNC Campaign Ad

The Republican National Committee is trying to prevent MSNBC and CNN from airing the Democrats’ new ‘100 Years in Iraq’ ad. RNC lawyer Sean Cairncross blusters, “This is a complaint about the facts that are being misrepresented in the ad, and this being a deliberate falsehood, that we are saying, stations have an obligation to protect the public from airing a deliberate falsehood.” (Dontcha love being lectured to by hypocrites?) Here’s one reason why the GOP is worried (from The Swamp): “HCD Reseach Inc., a market research company, found that independent voters went from 50 percent who saw McCain in a ‘mostly favorable’ light before they saw the ad, to 40 percent after they viewed the ad.”
