Alec Baldwin recently appeared on 60 Minutes. Among other things, he discussed politics and the vast right-wing conspiracy that’s after him. At one point Morley Safer quoted Alec describing Dick Cheney as a “lying, thieving oil whore” and “a murderer of the US Constitution”. Watch the clip:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

A new fully animated Star Wars film is coming this summer, “It’s said to be focused on Anakin Skywalker, fresh from his victory in Attack of the Clones and not yet following the path of the Dark Side. At his side is his determined female padawan Ahsoka, as well as the incomparable Obi-Wan. Together they become entangled in a plot in which the kidnapping of Jabba the Hutt’s son is used to set the Hutt clan against the Jedi Knights.”

George Lucas is taking a very different approach with this latest addition to his sci-fi empire. I don’t think his computer animation is quite on the level as films from Pixar.
